Sow the seeds of empowerment today, to reap the legacy of excellence tomorrow.
The Team
Based in Miami, Lianna Reynolds is an educator, philanthropist, and business owner impassioned by the transformative power of the arts with a focus on dance. Receiving a diverse education from various local and national organizations, she felt it was her duty to give back to the community what she received from the arts as a young dancer.
Upon attaining her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Florida International University, Lianna founded Paramount Dance Studios in the hopes of bringing dance to the city of Homestead. After years of teaching, she and her business partner, Ashley Beckno opened the Homestead Youth Arts Center (HYAC) in 2014.
With the dream to provide the community with a resourceful outreach program, Lianna has made it her personal mission to bring this vision to fruition.
As a Miami native, Ashley Beckno is an established teacher, choreographer and dancer in the community. Receiving her arts education from Southwood Middle, Coral Reef Senior High, in addition to her Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from Florida International University, Ashley is considered a true product of the city.
In 2006, Ashley used her vast knowledge of dance and psychology to open Paramount Dance Studios with Lianna Reynolds. In an effort to give the young dancers of Homestead a place to explore their creative pursuits and help cover the cost of an extra curricular education, she co-founded the Homestead Youth Arts Center. Currently, she is attaining a Master’s of Fine Arts in Dance at Jacksonville University.
To Ashley, dance is a compelling form of self expression which she believes should be shared as it helps hone personal skills needed to empower individuals to reach their true potential.
